PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Wise Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at their regular meeting
on March 4, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Wise Municipal Building located at
501 West Main Street, Wise, VA. When the meeting is called to order, and the public hearing is
opened you or your designated representative may offer input on the proposed amendments to the Town of
Wise Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations (adopted March 23, 1987). The proposed amendments
would amend Article 4, Sections 1.2.8, 2.2.10, 4.2.10, 5.2.17, 6.2.1.c., 7.2.4.d., 8.2.13, and Article 7, Section 5.1
by adding number 7. Said amendments would provide for regulations for methadone and other controlled
substance substitution program facilities. For a complete copy of the proposed amendments, you may
